Hi,

Lately i often get flooded with

raid23 is not in your party.
raid23 is not in your party.
raid6 is not in your party.
raid6 is not in your party.
raid7 is not in your party.
raid7 is not in your party.
raid17 is not in your party.
raid17 is not in your party.
raid2 is not in your party.
raid2 is not in your party.
raid8 is not in your party.
raid8 is not in your party.
raid16 is not in your party.
raid16 is not in your party.
raid19 is not in your party.
raid19 is not in your party.
raid24 is not in your party.
raid24 is not in your party.
raid21 is not in your party.
raid21 is not in your party.

Any easy way to figure out what addon could be causing this?
What API function gives this message, so i can grep my addons and test a bit

Ive been getting it too, got no idea why..

Just that mine was

party1 is not in your party.

It happened as i zoned out of Mech Heroic while in combat.

It happens if you enter/leave an instance through the portal while in combat

Got it again a few times today..

I don't think there is any API function which outputs that to chat; it's probably some addon whose author forgot to turn off debugging. Just look for "is not in your party" in addon files.

Windows search fails.. :/ Its none of my addons atleast, I dont use debug prints that much.

I believe this is related to the "You are not in a guild" messages people get sometimes just before logging off. Now, I did a
grep -lri --include \*.lua "is not in your party" /Applications/World\ of\ Warcraft/Interface/AddOns/
and there are no results for it, which leads me to believe that it's a problem with the WoW api itself, not a mod.

After some searching I've discovered that this error is the ERR_TARGET_NOT_IN_GROUP_S global string, but I've been unable to identify the function that outputs it. If it is oUF, it's caused by something in your layout or in a plugin you're using... I'm using oUF with the Banzai, DebuffHighlight, PowerSpark, and ReadyCheck plugins, and I've never seen that message.

Nope, not my layout. Im using same plugins as you + DruidMana (but i got these errors even when using no addons today)

So its a confirmed blizz bug

i don't use ouf at all get it

after disable/enable addon war, i think it was caused by Forte_warlock addon (wowi)

I know it's already been discounted as the cause in this case, but MainAssist does in fact cause those messages to spam to the chat window when zoning in or out of an instance while in a 5-man party.
