There's been a couple of updates to GarbageFu in the last two days; these issues may be resolved for others now. For me, they are not and, since I like this addon a lot, I thought I would post what's happening my end. This post is in the regular GarbageFu forum, but since this thread is specifically about GarbageFu being broken, I will duplicate here:
GarbageFu has been broken about a week on my system; waited for updates and sure enough, two came along :) - still not working though.
It doesn't open all bags on click, it's set to autoflog all greys but doesn't, it displays the 'Bin' icon on vendor windows but its greyed out even when it shouldn't be and is unclickable, and it throws this error upon login:
This is a shame, because it has given an otherwise flawless performance.
It began to go wrong around about the time several others did, though they have all now recovered. I also note that AuctioneerAdvanced recently added AutoMagic selling capabilities - which I promptly disabled, because I prefer GarbageFu's approach.
the embeds.xml was updated to reference LibGratuity 3.0 but the addon package still doesn't include the library itself.
Needs someone with SVN access to set the lib properties as well.
Yep. These random library updates by people who either don't know what they are doing and/or don't test what they do should be banned ;).
The person who "updated" GarbageFu (Belazor) decided to change this to use LibGratuity-3.0 for some unknown reason. They finally fixed four days later (on May 25) the issue they created. r75126 (or later) downloaded either off the SVN with a client or updater or via a ZIP file contains LibGratuity-3.0.
Neither Gratuity-2.0 GarbageFu originally used or LibGratuity-3.0 have been code updated since last year. So really no reason at all for GarbageFu to be changed to use LibGratuity-3.0.
Both GarbageFu r75126 mentioned above (using LibGratuity-3.0 for some unknown reason) & r57594 (from last December, its last major code update, it uses Gratuity-2.0) work just fine.
