Additionally, not all addons are released to the public. I have a half-dozen or so addons that I've written for my own personal use, but haven't released to the public because I don't feel like spending the time or effort to make them "release ready" or to provide support for them. Someone might post a screenshot using "xBar", but that doesn't necessarily mean that xBar is available for anyone else to use.
