Hi2Chris, you can try an addon called IPopBar. Doesn't really do what you want, but it has popbars.
The problem with hiding 2 bars and then making them show later on mouseover isn't really all that trivial because if the bars are hidden, you can't actually mouseover something that isn't there! So you need something else, another frame that is created to be there in its place to be "transparent but shown" and hence isn't click-thru to the underlying terrain to catch the mouse.
I am able to change the alpha of the bars when i enter and leave combat.
So what i was hoping for is the syntax to change it to "On Mouse Over", i looked into BT3 code and narrowed the part with the mouse over feature but i just cant get it to work with rBars.
The reason i don't want to use BT3 is because i don't use most of what it has to offer.
Sorry if i confused you, all i want to do is just set there alpha to 0 or 0.3 when not on mouse over and 1 on mouse over. So that should rid the need of the frame you where talking of.
I don't think you are allowed to set secure frames (and their parented frames) alpha to 0 during combat. The best you can do is to set it to some low value like 0.01. Don't quote me on this, I didn't test this.
