I really don't know what a dog tag is or how to fix it. I went to the pitbull page and tried reporting a bug and it told me that the url is not found. I'm able to go back to an older version til the update is fixed. I just want it put out there that there is a problem so hopefully someone will notice and fix. Thanks.
So, I thought I would be clever and just go back to an older (albeit still recent) version of pitbull and cowtip, but the 0 fps problem still exists. I can live without cowtip for a few days, but I need pitbull. Is there something in the wtf folder that needs to be deleted so I can at least get an older version to work?
I tried your suggestion and backed up and deleted the saved variables. Then I loaded pitbull and launched wow. I got the same results of 0-1 fps.
By the way, thanks for your help :)
Opps not sure how I missed that last 2-3 lines of his post, perhaps I should go to sleep.
Is this with externals or without, libraries within the addon folder or in the root addons folder?
Have you tried backing your saved variables (wtf\account\.. ) then removing all Rock libraries (there are quite a few) and addons and saved variables for those Rock addons and Libraries and completely reinstalling Pitbull and CowTip.
Alternatively give some different unit frame and tooltip mod a try, there are plenty to choose from.
Thanks for the help Ragnor :) I did try backing up and deleting the saved variables, but I'm not sure what Rock libraries are or where to find them. If you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction, I'd gladly give it a try.
Well, I don't know what the hell I did, but pitbull and cowtip both work now. I had to reconfigure both addons, which was a bit of a pain with pitbull. But if that's the worst that happens after all of this I'll be happy. If I figure out what I did to fix th issue I'll post it here. Thanks for everyone's help.

When I logged in my fps was 0. By process of elimination, I've discovered that 2 separate addons are causing this, each when loaded by itself:
pitbull
cowtip
Has anyone downloaded these and had the same problem? Can anyone help address the issue?
Also, I recommend backing up and clearing your PitBull and CowTip saved variables, see if that helps.
