Saw some comments about this addon, it looked interesting, so I downloaded it. Got an error complaining that DogTag-1.0 wasn't installed. I looked at the toc, and there's a bunch of #Lib tags in there, one of which refers to this lib. The problem is, I run with "no externals", and there's apparently nothing in this toc that will tell my updater which libraries it needs, i.e., the semi-standard ## X-Embeds tag is missing. I haven't done it yet, but I'm sure sticking a copy of DogTag-1.0 will fix this problem - but I shouldn't have to do it manually. :-)
There's another question, though. There's a LibDogTag-2.0. If that's an update or replacement for DogTag-1.0, shouldn't this (and all, really) addons use the former instead of the latter?
...addons / distributions running With out Externals have no official support and are intended for experianced users that know what they are doing. Other wise you should be running with externals. the ## X-Embeds: method is employed for various reasons but is not a requirement as it's also a advanced user method. So if it phookes it's your problem, not anyone elses.
and yes addons should use the v2 lib not the v1 lib.
