Not working either. I rolled back to 3.6.19 and that works. I tried each ver after that and they all don't load.
Also, thought I'd post a feature request since I love this addon and have been using it for many years, would love to see a 'reverse chat' option that will scroll top to bottom instead of bottom to top when new line of chat come in. I've used 'reverse chat' addons in the past, and I think even one time modifying an ini file in WoW to do the same thing, but after 7.0 I haven't been able to do this anymore.
This is because of the code "L = {" in the files, this should only be "{".
There is another problem in the Substitutions.lua. Some of the lines are improperly formatted. You can identify them quite simple, if you are using some sort of lua-editor (notepad++ works). I ended up with only fixing my language and just deleting the specific lines from every language i don't use.
There actually seems to me a greater problem overall with the localization system Ace uses. Anything using Ace localization is breaking when re-run/updated, ie: Shadowed Unit Frames.
Same here, rolled back to the 3.6.19 build and everything is back to normal.
How do I stop Curse client from rolling over the top of it again?
Right-click the addon in the Curse client, uncheck "update automatically".
This seems to be a more global problem with how Curse treats packages for a little while now, with a number of threads related to the problem on the "Curseforge forums -> WoW Sites Feedback" section. I've had a number of addons freak out and fail to load after updates, so, at least for the time being, I've decided to stop auto updates until I read that the issue is solved.
It does make sense when you say it; I have had a couple of other addons give me trouble lately aswell, so it may very well be a problem bigger than just Prat.
Have anyone checked out the new version 3.6.23 that came out a couple of hours ago?
EDIT: Prat-3.0-3.6.23 seem to work fine here, no errors after login atleast =)
Hey,
the new versions of Prat wont load for me, i had to downgrade to 3.6.19 to get it to work.
3.6.20 and all newer alpha versions dont work for me.
Just to put the information out there, if Prat does not work for you after the update just load 3.6.19 again and it should work.
Had to mess with it for a while to find this out, i hope this helps somebody.
Cheers
Same issue, same solution. Unsure what's breaking it - it doesn't even seem to load far enough to break?
Yea, the options dont even show up. Something fishy going on.
Updated this morning and having the same issues as already stated.
Its not loading the addon.
Thanks, installed the older version and its working again.
Same here. 3.6.19 is the last version ok.
Same problem, getting this error on login:

Same here, 10 errors in anything 3.6.20 or higher. 3.6.19 works fine for me aswell =)

In Line 136 [=[Current value: '%s' Click to paste into the chat.]=] = true, was for me a mistake. He makes that my chat option on the left side is.
I have added two " and my chat option is again on the right side :)
["=[Current value: '%s' Click to paste into the chat.]="] = true,

Same issue. On both 3.6.20 and 3.6.22.
I hope that the author reads this forum since there's no way to report bugs now.
