No, you misunderstand. I have a lot of old addons already installed. I want to see which addons from my wow folder that curse isn't updating/recognizing so i can look for updated versions on other sites or look for a replacement.
If you're trying to see if addons you have installed have these statuses, just go find their CurseForge/WowAce project page.
Unless you have 1200 addons installed, it should only take a few minutes at most to compare the alphabetized list in the Curse Client with the alphabetized contents of your AddOns folder.
Chmee, I'm not sure what you're doing differently, but the Curse Client didn't even recognize half of the addons I have that are from Curse without me manually (re)installing them through "Get New Addons", and it often "loses" addons even after I've done this. It certainly isn't showing me a list of things in my AddOns folder that it doesn't know what to do with.
Addons marked "planning" (no approved files), "inactive" (no updates in 6? months), or "abandoned" aren't displayed on Curse.com or in the Curse Client. If you really want to see a list of all addons with those statuses for some reason, you can use the search filters on CurseForge/WowAce:
