Ok, I got it up and running, but it's showing all of the addon sites as [Unknown]. When I click "update", there's a message along the bottom that all addons are queued for update. Then the message goes away, and nothing has changed in the event log. When I click "check version" I get a message saying that 0 Addons are queued for version check. Then the same thing that happened with the update happens. What do I do from here?
Going to take a wild guess that you have not gone to the WUU site to read the tutorial about set up? :P Well, maybe you have. :D Open wuu and hit F1 to go there. Hit the link "Getting started with WUU" in bold blue. Refer to lines #3-7. That should lead you to what you need to read to continue your set up.
Hint* You can highlight multiple addons using shift or apple key. Then select the source site(drop down list..defualt is at "ignore"). Just highlight all your ace addons and select "wowace") in the bottom of frame and hit button "set selected to site". These speeds up initial set up to do the siteID's in batches instead of one at a time if you have like 100+ addons like me. :D
Oh, it was *fine* before you patched it to fix the other bug.. lol.
And I've noticed that if I don't touch it *at all*, don't touch the screen, mouse, anything, until the program is _fully_ loaded, I don't get those nasty screen errors. Hmm.
ZOMG! I do the samething! I thought I was just being superstitious, lol. Yes, it seems if I don't touch anything, just back away from my desk and not breathe, it will load. Otherwise, I get errors and it just won't open, lol.
- marked Skinner in WUU and choosed add addon > delete > yes
- checked my addons folder: the Skinner folder was gone
- choosed addon > install from > WoWace > Skinner
- checked my addons folder: the Skinner folder was there but no mobmap.lua in AddonSkin
This is strangeness...
Did you look in your Skinme folder also? Perhaps its already in there since your using that addon? I am asking because I updated also and mobmap.lua is in there for me...not sure why you don't have it anymore, either.
I might layer the pages a bit. Having all of that info on one page can overwhelm some people.
I would have an intro(home) page with pretty pics and descriptions; a download page with links and install directions for each platform; then links to a quick start page with basic directions on use and a link to more "advanced" usage page.
Then finally a link to a forum. I love the idea of a forum to seperate stuff like comments, sugqestions, bugs, help requests and beta versions. It would be easier for newbies to navigate than this thread. :) (I have used mybb http://www.mybboard.com/ in the "slate" template and have gotten good feedback on it. Free, too :D )
Wow, this is great stuff! Thank you so much. I was out of town for awhile and it was so nice to come back luanch WUU and have every addon updated so quickly! (Like under a minute and I was set to log in and play!)

I launched each file seperate with pythonlauncher....each time I got a process completed...except on the wurm.py doc, I got that message. Maybe that will help you figure out whats happening?
I also made a copy of my working 1.44 version then I pasted 1.51 over it...just to see if 1.51 was missing any files that 1.44 had. It still did not launch completely. I don't think 1.51 is missing anything, just some error somewhere not letting it work.
It just feels like its logging me out immediately on launch.
I start it get the terminal and terminal-bash windows, then I gete the prompt to choose my WoW folder..when I hit ok, something opens then closes real real fast. The WUU window never does though.
