That avoids the visual AFK flag but there's also a secret AFK flag timer that logs you out. It's easy to avoid the visual AFK, it's not so easy to avoid the logout flag. It has to do with sitting down as far as I can tell from my experimentation but I cannot, for the life of me, stop that character from sitting down.
I figured that I could do something with forcing the character to not sit but it's impossible! x.x They do it with code that's not in the API, I've hooked and disabled every form of API sitting and yet still the character persists ...
There's very little I haven't played, I monitor adventuregamers.com like a hawk for anything that I haven't seen. Be it Sierra and Space Quest, Westwood and Kyrandia or Lucas Arts and Monkey Island, to the newer and incredibly impressive the Longest Journey and Fahrenheit. If it's an adventure-game then I've played it.
The pirate thing was actually added for 'Talk like a pirate day.' It was the most piratey thing I could think of using in Ascend at the time.
