Invisibility would indeed be nice to have. But I'm thinking that something more fade-like similar to the priest ability would truly be of consistent use over invisibility.
I don't play a shaman due to the constant timing and mashing of keys in order to be great. With my mage, I mana-dump while being buffed to the maximum possible. I'd rather have a buff-ish kind of fade thingy whatchamacallit over an on/off invisibility spell (if that's the way it worked).
That you should post it in the right section... lol... JK! But seriously...
I never played a mage until later in my WoW career. I've enjoyed them without knowledge of the nurfs involved. That is part of the problem with playing since inception I believe - you are privy to all gruesome details of what has been hacked, removed, or nurfed.
Although I hate to see things like this happen, and never got use to the "we never intended it to be like this/that" statements (even from back in EQ days (played for 5.5 yrs)), I'm a laid back person and still find ways to enjoy the game I'm playing... somehow.
I feel a tiny bit helpless when it comes to these types of things, but I still voice my disgust or annoyance at the devs in the slight glimmering hope that they would have a moment of clarity and say, "OMFGWTF! He's right! We're asses! Big, hairy, sweaty, asses!". But until then, I'll keep playing and having fun.... somehow.
