now that is a great idea any idea how volumizer does it (am at work so can't check)? am thinking of just making a frame that covers everything at the lowest strata when yssdrops opens and then when it hide it when it closes
So I've found a weird issue: I'm using YssDrop in the auto-hide mode, and when I click DrDamage's plugin (via FuBar2Broker) and then select something off of its DewDrop menu, the DewDrop menu closes. I think this is because YssDrop closes when I move my mouse off of YssDrop and onto DewDrop, because if I put DrDamage on DockingStation and access it from there instead, the DewDrop menu doesn't disappear when I click something on it.
Edit: YssDrop is also hiding itself when I move my cursor off of it even if I put YssDrop on click mode instead of hover mode.
Edit 2: Now click toggling is working after I reloaded my UI.
yea am thinking about just removing the damn hover option (its always been buggy and always will be since there is no callback 100% way to check if a new frame was spawend and then if that frame was hidden again)
i'll probably remove it next time i work on YssDrop i think click spawning is much cleaner anyway (stuff doesn't spawn all over the place unless you want it too)
Sorry if I missed this. When I use the launcher pulldown, the Yss menu stays open after I'm done with it. The only way I've been able to close the drop down is to click the Yss icon to open the config screen, then click OK or Cancel on that screen.
Any way to get it to auto hide, or roll back up into Chocolate Bar after a short delay, say 3-5 seconds after the mouse has moved off the Yss drop down?
i will look into it (but the auto show method will always be buggy (due to me not having much control over what other people spawn from their plugins))
i personally use the on click setting where it only drops down when i click it also you should be able to close the window with the ESC button
Been using alpha versions of YssDrop all along. Haven't noticed anything odd except for YssDrop's frame appearing on the left side of the screen instead of under its LDB plugin on DockingStation.
i use the SmartAnchorTo function provided by LibQTip so it should always be on screen no matter where you move your plugin on your screen so i guess its a simple issue of different implementations on how to anchor things to one another with everything staying on the screen
hmm not sure why the nolib version doesn't work but then i don't have total control over that disembeding process since it relies on the curseclient to install the right libs. should work though as long as you have all the libs installed :)
all you need is Ace3, LibQTip, and LibDBIcon.
