Yeah, I am not fond of all the manual stuff going on during this 2 month roll out of Coliseum with up to 4 separate sets of debuffs. Any ideas on where to steal good boss detection code / a lib? Anyone want to volunteer for this?
Couldn't 99% of the stuff be autolearned by just examining who casts a buff?...
I think that's a good idea. The big reason for the current scheme is the classification burden of GridStatusRaidDebuff. In Grid2StatusRaidDebuffs it works off a single spellId so such a scheme would give good results.
There would still need to be a way to prioritize and / or ignore debuffs. You would not want a raid wide aoe debuff to obscure the "dot o' deth" that is on some specific person.
At that point some easy reporting scheme for new bosses in the options UI would make adding debuffs easier as well.
...is it possible to Move the countdown portion on Raiddebuff? Or Change the text color to something that stands out more?
Pastamancer added cooldown during the guid changes in january I think.
All these things are possible, but I am spending all my effort on Grid2 which does not have such issues to begin with. So either upgrade to Grid2 and deal with its alpha status and heavy development phase, or wait for it to get done. Alternatively someone can fix this, I simply do not have the time.
Tried center icon and CenterText3 for sure, maybe a few others (killed myself about 10 times with various combinations). Will be more thorough next time I'm down there if it looks like it should be showing. If I tie it to a text spot, should it have the stack count or just the name of the aura?
I am not sure of the behavior. The last thing I remember as stacking and showing it was with bloodboil. We are not on yogg yet so I cannot actually debug your specific case. If you look at the code and search for stackable you can see what other fights ought to show stacks...
The alpha version of this is Guid Grid compatible and has upgrades to the wotlk raid instances posted by cptmurdok incorporated into it. To use it before the release of Guid Grid on Jan 15 you will need to also need to get the alpha version of Grid itself.
