Klairen, you shouldn't need the plugin? I only use GridStatusLifebloom and configured the 2nd text line to show the countdown. I have no other module or plugins.
For MoonWitch: Here's a quickie pic from my *cough* feral druid ( I have way too many priest and druid characters =P ) The small box indicator on the top right corner changes in color depending on how many blooms are stacked, blue is 1, yellow is 2, and green is 3.
Now, I was wondering, the plugins for Grid to show HoTs, why? I just added them manually to the Status watchers and boom - works fine. Though the extra indicators I may use :P
I have a druid too, she's resto (this is apart from my holy priest). I use a hot/lifebloom grid module on her (GridStatusLifebloom), and it's invaluable. Rolling blooms on pve raids (rolling them on tanks really cuts down on huge damage spikes) = win. A decent druid can roll blooms on 3 people without it ever blooming. A great druid can roll them on 4 people without it ever blooming, but it takes a lot of concentration. I can use a classtimer (and I've tried) but trying to look at a timer and trying to find their names in grid in that 2 second window is just waaaaay too much.
I've never configured grid for mana bars, it's just extra clutter imo. If I really wanted to see everyone's mana, I can stick them in my XRS mod.
I've used Grid since it's inception and I'm pretty fond of it as is. I really hope it doesn't become as bloated as the other addons are. I'm a healer (priest) and I've configured it to every possible debuff that should be of concern to me while raiding.
While the setup and documentation can use some improvement, I don't want default settings for healers where I won't be able to change anything, just to dumb it down.
For background, I am an average computer user, and I learned how to use Grid pretty quickly, and configured it pretty easily. (see my setup in sig)
