I'll have a look at this for you over the next few days, maybe. Can you PM me with a list of the NPCs that aren't being displayed the way you want? I don't normally play with portait turned on, so once I've got it working it'll be up to you to maintain the list.
This has got me thinking that maybe a library would be the better long-term way to go about it, so all portrait addons can share the list instead of each author having to figure it out themselves. Bah.
You can't expect new features to be added to PitBull 3 now: PitBull 4 is under construction. I believe a ticket for this has already been raised for PitBull 4, and we'll all have to wait with baited breathe to see how 4 turns out. :)
You usually need the frame and elements to be visible/active before you can configure all of their settings. Or switch the Configuration Mode to Raid and you'll see dummy frames. Once these are up, you should be able to find Main Tank Targets, Texts inside that, and the settings you want are in there.
I don't think there are individual font settings like that in Pitbull3. Have you tried the Outline and ThickOutline tags in DogTag? They might help you a little.
Any chances at all that this mod could support/add the options to move items around like DUF or AG Pimpster? I love pitbulls dog tags and all of the options available and how easy it is to set up, but that seems to be the only functionality that is holding me back from using pitbull in all of my interfaces. Just a thought :)
Hmmm, what exactly do you mean by "move items around"?
Pitbull allows us to change the order and orientation of all the bars (eg health bar beneath power bar), and lets us put status icons and DogTags anywhere we like with respect to the bars or the frame. We can also mouse-drag the frames around, and position them more accurately using number fields. There's also a configuration mode so we don't need to actually be in a raid or party to properly position/configure those frames.
i often get this problem where this a pixel line between the bars (such as health and power) and i have to play with scale height and bar heights to fix it alot of the time. any lua edits to fix it?
reading from page 1 to see if its said b4 (which it is i guess)
Yeah, I tried for ages to eliminate that, since it doesn't seem to scale as deterministically as I'd like. It's quite difficult to get layouts looking perfect if you have different sized (yet same scaled) frames close to each other.
I wouldn't expect anything but show-stopping bugs to be looked at this late in Pitbull3's life (since Pitbull4 work has started). Looking forward to seeing that mature.
This was only the behaviour before 3.0 because the API didn't actually give up any of that extra information. Nowadays it's the same call, and it returns everything, even if you aren't responsible for the Buff/Debuff.
I can see how an option to ignore the timing of other peoples' effects would be pretty nice, though.
I noticed in the changelog that talents are being quizzed before deciding what kinds of effects can be dispelled. If this hasn't already been taken into account, I believe Warlocks are now completely unable to cleanse/cure/dispell unless they have the Demonic Empowerment ability (and it only applies to the pet).
In configuring the sizes/placement of my party, party targets, and party pets frames, whenever i try to adjust the size of the Party Pet frame (Pitbull>Party pets>Other>Size>Height), it also adjusts the Party bars at the same time. Height, Scale and Width sliders all exhibit this same behavior.
I'm using ver. 3.2.7
Pretty sure that bug has been in there for a while. What I noticed was that after a reload, the frames that I didn't want to change were back to their desired sizes, and the frames that I did want to change retained their new size. It's a bit annoying, but you can still get everything exactly the way you want provided you reload after you get the sizes just right.
I reverted back to 3.2.6 for now. Strange that 3.2.7 is working fine for you.
