I am aware of this issue, and not exactly sure why it happens or how I can fix it properly. Since it is a rather minor issue (the flicker is annoying, but it fixes itself quickly), other bugs have been taking priority. I do want to take another look at the Aura layout code soon, though, and hopefully fix this along with a few other small bugs.
It's these darn 24-hour days, they're just not long enough... WTB [Time Machine], paying well, PST!
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback and your consideration, as always Ellipsis.
Currently running PitBull 67004, but also noticing this in 65512 (in fact been noticing it back since about 62699). As per the picture included, sometimes aura buff/debuffs will appear momentarily on the wrong frame before switching to their correct positions. This happens so fast that that you have to be really quick to see it happen; in fact the attached pic is a frame from a movie that I captured in game. The very next frame shows the buff in it's correct position. This happens when solo or in party/raid, and I am using split config option to separate buffs/debuffs. Any ideas?
P.S. Thanx for:

PitBull: PLAYER_PET_CHANGED -> UNIT_PET. The old event doesn't get fired anymore, causing the pet frame to be glitchy and unresponsive. It should behave much better now.
I'll test this when I get a chance and give feedback.
You can see my target target & pet target frams buged, also my target frame health bar doesn't work good.
(sorry for bad english)
I can't answer your question about the bugged frames, but could you tell me what range mod you are using? It says "A Portee" and looks a lot like Range Help (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1111/), but this mod is severely broken under 2.4. I have tried other range mods but none are as good as Range Help.
Currently running PitBull 63744, but also noticing this in 65512 (in fact been noticing it back since ~62699). I am fairly sure that this only occurs when in a raid or party, but I haven't fully tested this.
I just downloaded an installed pitbull, and it looks great so far except for one problem. I can't get into the config menu. I get LibRockconfig - 1.0: Bad return from function "args" for Putbull'. Expected "table", got "string" ("@cache"). I get this every single time I type /pitbull or alt right click a frame on any of my chars. I've got revision 63819.
You will need to update your other non-PitBull addons (eg, Cartographer) to the latest versions to fix this issue.
OK, this is a minor issue, but being a visual one it's irritating:
- The 3D picture when targeting some critters/mini-pets has the camera set too close to the face so some polygons doesn't show, giving the face an odd look. This glitch shows up at least for squirrels. (And IIRC, also for chickens and/or rabbits).
This is not an issue specific to PitBull, it affects all UFs that use the 3D model.
Ok First of all I have been getting a bunch of Aura Fragments all over my screen, sometimes it just happens other times I get an error message popping up involving pitbull before it happens. Don't have a picture or error number but will get it next time it happens.
Second, I was on my Druid Alt and I noticed that the druid mana bar in cat form or in bear form was off by a good amount when i would shift back to normal. Anything I could do to fix this, or is the Druid mana bar just an educated estimate as to the true mana leves?
Third(This might have been address before not exactly sure), I would like to use Mobinfo2 to get Mob-health, but can't seem to disable Pitbulls Health Estimator and was wondering if there was a way to do it, or are they just not compatible?
I have everything up to data, update at least once a day.
Edit: Ok hope this ends up in the right thread this time >_>;
1. I believe Ellipsis said that they are aware of some aura issues and are working through those. A screenshot or error report will help.
2. Not sure.
3. If you are using embedded libs (which you would be by default), delete the "LibMobHealth-4.0" folder from \Interface\Addons\PitBull\libs. This will cause your MobInfo data to be used once again.
Perhaps I'm missing it but is there a setting to hide the player frame in raid? also, is there someway that I can change the fallback to show 2d or class icons for portraits when they're out of a certain range instead of the unavailiable setting? seems that when using the 3d portrait that if they're not in a certain range it uses the bouncing ?, which i'd just rather not see.
Thanks for another great mod cknight!
Not sure about hiding player frame while in a raid, but doing the portrait thing is very simple, go into your PitBull config window:
Make sure 2D and 3D are both set to 2D as the fallback. When a unit is out of range or unable to update the 3D portrait data for some reason, it will default the portraits to 2D.
