What I'd do:
Use Pitbull, filter the stuff I want to see as bars.
Use EBB to show debuffs on myself as bars. Use a filtered display of buffs on myself that only shows seals.
Use either ClassTimer or EBB to show your own debuffs on the target. Don't think that Pitbull can show other debuffs as icons, but I am not totally sure here. If you do not want to see EVERY debuff on the target, you will have to use a whitelist with EBB. Or just use ClassTimer, which doesn't show other people's debuffs.
I am so not switching to PitBull lol. I have a unitframe mod, totally set up as I want it. I am using Classtimer, which does the job - just wishing there was another addon for it out there. I love CLassTimer, but I am trying to cut back on all the libraries I have. Right now, I have Ace2, Ace3, if I added cart/pb/cowtip/parrot I'd have Rock too - and thus all the Babble variation (Rock version, Ace2 version AND Ace3 version - that's a bit too much for me). EBB I've tried, but it lead to a wall of bars on targets that just made me gasp in shock.
I'll try to get a screenie of my setup. The issue for me is the raid frames to be honest, I loathe walls of bars, even though I mainly heal, in BG (which technically is raid setup too) I need to dps and see what the heck is going on :P Grid, while lovely, takes me days to setup and I just lack the patience at the moment. PitBull did make me lag bad in bg, my pc isn't that great :P
BunchOfBars is another one you may want to try out. Looks very different from the default Pitbull or X-Perl layout, but it is nice indeed.
Also, if you are playing a profession that does not have to see all the other players' HP in the raid, you may be better served without any raidframes at all, and just use decursive and maybe XRaidStatus. The latter one is discontinued, tho, but still works for me.
I am going to test out BunchOfBars, it looks quite interesting to be honest.
I play a Paladin, right now I am mainly retri spec'ed though I plan on or levelling a priest/druid to 70 as well or be healadin. For raids (not BGs) I heal, at lvl 53 you can't take on lvl 70's usually anyhow.
Here's what I need (yes, need)
my frame : show my stuff, debuffs in bars, my seals in bars. buffs not quite.
Target : Debuffs in bars (only those I casted), other debuffs normal icons, buffs in icons.
Raid frame : HP with -xxx for what is lacking. A tiny strip for mana, so I know how my healers and CC are doing mana wise.
I would like my raid frames to also change border color depending on which debuff is active, but I can easily cover that with Decursive. I want to see the name of the person, class colors HP bar and perhaps the level too. And a range check, so I can click cast Flash of Light if need be. I want my Raid frames to be small, 100px long, 10 to 15 high. That's it.
I am working on an oUF raid part, but at the moment still have some minor issues with party etc, so I want to tackle those first. But by the time those are sorted I will have passed the lvl60 marker, and at 59 I need to BG a LOT to get some honor for epics at 70. I am open to suggestions for that one.
PS, It has to be fairly light, otherwise my FPS drops too much and I can't be a half decent healer.
For decursing, personally, I use Decursive. It places a very small button (see through even) per unit - no name, no health, you just left/right/shift left/shift right click the unit buttons to decurse :) Does the job marvelously. http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Decursive
If you like the raid frames of perfect raid, but find them too large, perhaps Grid may be for you. It is small, yet very complex to set up. Though, once it is set up just right - you won't want something else. Grid + Decursive form an excellent team. http://www.wowace.com/wiki/Grid
