Is there a way to remove buff / debuff icons from the pet frame but not player / party / etc?
You can disable buffs/debuffs individually for each frame type. In the Pitbull menu there's a menu for Player Pet. Under there I think it's under Other-->Aura's. There should be an option for Buffs and Debuffs. Just uncheck what you don't want to show.

Another very bad thing is that the buffs/debuffs are always right-oriented so when i set them on the right side of the frame, the first buff will be set to the far right and the last buff is then set directly next to the frame. Why? :o
Under Aura options there's a setting to Split buffs/debuffs. Toggle whatever setting it's on. See if that helps.
First I want to thank all of you that has helped me before, Thank you.
Secondly I have a question if its possible to get only 1 set of figures in the heath text to show using the custom way, so that when I'm at full health that's what it shows then in fight it just show what less than full health.
Like now I have on absolute and it shows 1200/1200 then in fight its like 1035/1200 what I want is to get rid of the /1200 and only show the first set of numbers and the declining when in fight, is that possible using the dogtags ?
If so how should i then write it since I suck at dogtags =), pls ?
Sure, set it to custom then set the custom string to: [CurHP]
I have buffs above my frame but they're not aligned properly. The bigger I make them the more they overlap my healthbar. In the screenshot you can even see the cooldown spiral going over the healthbar a bit. This happens with the regular Aura module and the Alt_Aura one on these forums so I presume it's not their fault and it's a Pitbull issue. At size 20 they lineup fine any larger and the buffs are anchored to the top and stretch downard over the frame. Any easy way to fix this?
Hello, I apologize if this has been asked before (looked at wiki and didn't see it). I'm trying to shorten the names to a specific character length. Mainly for party targets. I can change the width of the frame but the name spills over the frame size. I think there's a code I can use under custom to force a limit?
1. Since I started doing runs in Tempest Keep Pitbull doesn't show my health after a wipe when you autorez at the graveyard. It keeps my health at 0 until I do something to change it like Feign or get a fort buff etc....
2. When I recall my pet his health starts what looks to be 10%, I get a low health warning, then his health fills up to where it should be at max.
Align is all well and good, but it's nowhere near precise enough. Dragging and dropping results in numbers like 63.123124142, 65.23123123 and so forth, when I want it at 64. Currently, I'm editing the saved variables file, and reloading the changes. Works okay, but I have to log out, save changes, log in.
Doesn't help too much, but if you make the file you just edited read only, then reloadui, the saved changes will be applied ingame, then you can disable read only again.
My target frame will occasionally fill with the combat icon (the crossed swords) stretched across its entire area. I have icons disabled for target, ToT and ToTT. This can appear in all 3 of those frames, but only one at a time. The only situation I could possibly guess this happening in is me staying out of combat, someone runs into combat, I target them and then the combat icon fills their frame.
It happens only a handful of times per night in SSC and isn't really a big pain on trash. However, it did bug once on a boss fight and the frame for the MT was covered in the icon the duration of the fight.
I had this one happen to me for the first time last night after opening and closing the map, thankfully opening and closing the map made it go away again.
I'm also seeing the old bug where text vanishes from unitframes when I open and close the map.
I've seen posts about how it's not possible to have pets under their owner in parties and I'm fine with that. I perfer to use the 'Square' layout for pets to keep all pets together anyways.
Is it possible to have this Square group of pets attach to the bottom of the party frame, or is this also not doable thanks to Blizzard? With a full group I set the pets below the bottom member, no problem. With only 1 or 2 people in the group there's now a big gap between the party and pets since the pets.
