I'm going to provide a link to the file here. Please be advised that I am, of course, NOT the author of this mod, nor do I have any intentions of taking over the mod in any way, shape, or form. I'm just providing a replacement file as a temporary fix until the author is able to update the mod themselves.
Just unzip/rar this file into the modules folder where the original exists. Though this is by no means a complete fix, it will stop the errors and allow you to operate the new Blizzard default UI Objectives window. A more complete fix would also remove the achievement watch frame, as this has been integrated into Blizzard's default Objectives watch frame.
Well, you can take out the quest watch frame references altogether and use the draggable height adjustment of the built-in Blizzard quest watch frame. It's dragable and resizeable now... No need for an add-on to do this work for you. You can also remove the code for the achievement watch frame mover, as well. Blizzard tacked on their achievement watch code into the advanced tracker code.
i tried doing all of that, and while there is no more error, i dont have a quest tracking frame at all, and when i try to add a quest to it, it says i need to stop tracking something first as its full. and idea why, or am i missing the point of these "fixes"?
What I did is remove all the QuestWatchFrame code altogether from my movers.lua file. It works perfectly, now.
Blizzard added its own advanced quest tracking frame. Go into Interface >> Objectives and check the Advanced Tracker box and uncheck the "Disable MouseOver" so that you can move, resize, set alpha, etc. the frame.
Now here's to hoping the Skinner author adds skinning of this new frame. :)
I'm really sorry to hear that. Your smm mod is the best minimap mod out there by a country mile. It's the only one, in fact, that does everything I need. kalidav's fix worked...for now. It's a shame to see one of the best mods out there fall by the wayside.
If I was any good at lua coding, I'd take over, but I'm just a scrub...
Is this mod no longer in development? Curious, as 3.1.0 seems to have broken the movers and it's nigh-on imperative I be able to move these (without having to use other broken move mods such as MoveIt or MoveAnything!).
