thoughts i had when moving those files into a lib folder:
I am thinking of splitting the dropinfo on item tooltips into its own addon and thus would require a shared yet independent database. As such when i rewrote the wowhead miner, last time it broke, I also broke out all the data access functions to parse the data and made sure it could upgrade itself when more than one version was loaded (YAY libstub). As such it is more a library than just some data so I tossed it in the lib folder.
I am not entirely sure if i want to make it into a standalone Lib, unless there is demand from others (also someone else with more programming experience should look through the lib code to make sure it is all good before releasing it imo), but i am open to it :)
What i ment was, lets assume i'm in ICC10 with my guild and i'm browsing the loot tables of a certain boss (with the option turned on to show only the loot from ICC10). At a certain point, somehow i wanted to have a very quick look at the ICC25 loot of that boss for a quick link or comparison. It's currently not possible unless i turn off some settings and it would be nice to have a button that displays the normal view for that boss. (If you now click on refresh a few times, it does the same thing, but it just "zoom's in to the specific loot of that instance)
you can simply click on the loot header to zoom into out of the loot no need to change any settings
suggestion: better way to link item in chat, right now to link something we need to use the new button to resize the map then re-click the boss and then choose the item from a list that we can't read (too small character size)
another quick suggestion will be to remove the % drop chance on emblem (in heroic) or just put it to 100% and remove the %drop chance on stone keeper's shard
for the chat linking there is not much i can do except to recommend Mapster to you which is what i personally use.
as for the text size i have noticed this myself it gets a bit small at the smaller sizes am thinking about adding some sort of scale that you can pick from (one for the new small map and another for the big map)
I am currently waiting to see how wowhead will handle emblems since they are now no longer "Loot" but get distributed upon bosskill automatically
Edit: Scaling was easier to implement than i thought it would be check out 0.4.1b it has same sane defaults for loot scale and you can adjust the scale individually for small, large and large with POIs map views.
Maybe we could insert a shortcut when displaying the (filtered) loot tables to the main loot table where it displays all the modes for that boss?
Umm not quite sure what you are trying to say could you rephrase that
as for removing the background that is done check the latest beta
FYI if anyone wants more/different skull options just let me know (and provide the texture you want to see if possible (just make sure its not under copyright and tell me where you got it from so i can make sure its legal to use)
