I've been reading up on how Cartographer converts the .BLP minimap locations into code data. I'm trying to understand how ckknight designed pack.lua to work inside of the "InstanceMaps/script" folder.
For one, I assume it's outdated and can't reference northrend WMO texture paths right now. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I understand how to cross-reference the mp5translate to determine the .blp files which are used for a particular instance(and extract the .blp files). However, I don't understand how Cartographer uses its code to point to a particular .blp file to have it display in a sequence on an instancemap. That's what I assume the code is designed to do.
...But please if anyone can point me in a good direction (maybe a script that converts into the data that cartographer uses) - I'd like to help as I have alot of time on my hands and still prefer Cartographer over any other map addon to date. ;)
