the only thing we changed in a long long time in the vh.module is "checkforwhipe" so i think this change is causing your problems.
The portal messages are similiar to the death announce of the black knight;
we're counting bossdeaths .
1boss down= portal 7 incoming
2 boss down= portal 13 incoming
therefore a wipe might mess with our internal counter.
While we're trying to solve this problem, we should add a small announce "portal soon" ~5 seconds before the portal appears ; people might fall asleep during the 95 second counter ;)
-i thought about something like:
IF Eadric casts Hammer of the Rightous AND target is not affected by Hammer of Justice THEN print "you have the hammer! Throw it!" WHEN target=Player / whisper player IF target= someoneelse AND start 6sec timer for hammer of rightous
-we could announce the target of the Hammer of Justice before so you can dispell it.
-announce when Eadric is low health (21k ),so you know when to hit him with his hammer to kill him.
status update ;) : i have working alpha modules for eadric the pure and the black knight. these are my first bw/lw-modules that i coded entirely myself so ill test and improve them before releasing them.
so far we have a short warning for eadrics radiance and a warning for ghoul explosion.
Currently im adding a warning for the hammer(eadric) and the death debuff from the black knight so you can focus your healing on the player with the increased magic dmg -debuff .
My unitframes /decursive display things like disease/magic debuff/poison.
Does anyone want a warning about those as well? like the sheep in the factionchampion encounter?
Im collecting logs as always when a new 5man instance opened .
- A timer from the initial yell until the encounter with the faction champions really begins.
They talk a lot and by the time the fight begins your shields vanished
-The faction champions:
1) you get a rndmly choosen set of 3 , so we should combine them into one module (if we need one)
2) They heal, sheep players, do dmg, and im sure that there was poison on the ground, (green texture that does dmg)
- Eadric the pure:
I know there is a big blizzard message for the moment you need to turn away from him, but if we could hide that and just print a shorter message like "gaze!" and maybe find out if there is a pattern in it, would help.
He throws his hammer on a player which can be bubbled/iceblocked /dispelled so maybe warn about that. (its a magic debuff so unitframes/decursive can show this as well)
If the hammer effect is removed, for a very short moment you have a changed action bar with eadrics hammer on the first position.
This is neccessary for the achievement.
[although i didnt manage to get that one yet ;) ]
- Black Knight:
1) ghoul explosion warning, many players stand inside explosionrange and woinder why they take large amounts of dmg. i think it was a channeled spell so we can warn before you take dmg. if it happens after time /at a set %age of his hp i dont know yet.
2) The diseases. The tank told me that he takes large amount of dmg when i dont remove these diseases as soon as possible.
3) the death.debuff. I'm not sure what exactly it does, but i died on this-
