With dev mode on are you seeing this message: "The party/raid appears to be OOC" and then "Processing Timers" and if so do you see something that starts with "Discarding info on" during the attumen trash?
Don't remember now the full debug message details from Friday. A definite maybe on the second one, at least ;).
May or may not enable Incubator for this week's run; TrashTimer works without issues. If I do, will confirm the messages.
This still isn't handling the respawn timers up to Attumen in Kara properly.
Last week went ahead and did what I mentioned would do: merge the r66571 Core.lua 2.4 combat log changes with r62095's Core.lua (the last revision that worked 100% reliably without problems here). Merged fine, ran without errors in luac5.1.exe. Unfortunately was even less reliable than the regular Incubator is in-game, though ;).
Could take it out of standby, but it did not function at all (executed options brought up errors, no bars or FuBar timers appeared). So the massive changes made in r62141 and on--when the unreliability of this mod started--were too large to allow the diff to work.
So this week tried again...this time with the latest r76114. For good measure, embedded every library as well (despite me normally using standalones). And again, the timers never appeared up to Attumen, only on the trash pulls up to Moroes and after. This time I had "Developer" (debugging) turned on, though. WoW crashed before the end of Kara, though, so don't have the saved text to paste.
On the trash pulls up to Moroes, received messages on various mob kills that they "triggered a timer start..." (or similar; I remember the words "trigger" & "timer" :D). Identical messages on various mobs further on up to Curator and so on. And those messages could be coordinated with seeing the timers start in FuBar. But no messages about triggering a timer on any mobs up to Attumen. It gives messages about the total mob count of a particular mob, though.
So the mod isn't detecting any pull up to Attumen as "starting a timer". Oh, one improvement...the bars are finally showing up in r76114 when a timer does appear (later in the instance).
Well not sure what to tell you. Ran kara just now and attumen timers worked perfectly. You sure the mod didnt go into standby for some reason? Maybe a mod conflict?
Yes, made sure it was on and active. If its a "mod conflict", this is the only mod among the (many) scores of mods am currently running/testing that has such a problem ;).
The timers became active...only after Attumen was killed and the spawns up to Moroes were started. Hope you can fix the problem sometime.
Next week will be reverting to r62095--the last version that worked properly, timer bars included--and manually inserting your 2.4 combat log changes (only) from r66751. Will let you know if that works.
Really? Are you sure you don't have one of the bar options set wrong? ie to see all bars set:
Max time in minutes = 0
Time between bars = 0
Bar count = something more than 0
If this doesn't fix it turn on dev mode and try give me some feedback if you can. Haven't run kara in a few weeks but attumen timers worked last time I did. All timers in TK have been working perfectly (and I have been using candybars to make sure)
It wasn't the bars (which I had disabled because they haven't worked since February and I haven't tried them again), it was the timer in the FuBar text which didn't show up at any time through to Attumen. Yes, the three things you mention were set to 0.
During a trial test last night during a Kara clear run, r74023 refused to show the 20 minute timer up to Attumen. The Moroes timer started, but not that one, which is a small improvement...heh. Same problem as in the past before I switched to Trash Timers. Did not log out/relog or anything before the start of the run; logged in once.
This still needs work before it can be relied on in a raid (at least Kara & ZA raids). Maybe go back to old code, if it doesn't need updating for 2.4.x?
Here is hoping the new r74262 finally fixes the timer problems. Based on the log, doesn't look like it (looks specific to a single circumstance), but hoping anyway ;).
This has become pretty much useless in both Karazhan & ZA, unfortunately. Have had to switch to using Trash Timer running those instances with new people where being within the timer was more critical.
Details: the past two weeks, this has failed to start recording or displaying countdown timers for the trash spawn in either instance. Except in a single circumstance. Not to mention the bars never showing up...since about February. Only the FuBar display has been working...up until the past couple of weeks.
Used r72765 last night in Kara giving this mod one last gasp before moving back to Trash Timer. Enter the instance, start the pulls to Attumen, the FuBar display shows nothing at any time. Same behavior with a week ago's builds. It did show timers properly a couple of weeks ago.
But then log out and log back in after Attumen was killed. Sure enough, the Moroes repawn timers started working. They never showed up at all in either Kara or ZA at any time last week (I never logged out and back in then).
So hope you can get the timers working properly without requiring people to relog after the timers were supposed to have started displaying. As well as seeing the timer bars again someday. I miss the old days of this working properly :( .
Just toggle off fubar timer display and the timers should be displayed onscreen again. It's on by default.
No, that doesn't work.
Toggle off or on the FuBar timer display, nothing happens. Can move the bar anchor around, but the bars themselves never appear.
This was with r62678. The newer r62806 has the revision note: - added standby mode
- haven't been able to get candybars to resume properly on re-entering zone but fubar timers do
1) Are you totally sure that it will change from standby to active once you are in a tracked zone 100% of the time?
2) Are the bars ever going to work properly again? Its a serious issue for those that preferred them.
