Nope, I meant wowace' internal search didn't find that, I did a search (yeah I'm lazy like that) to get to the project page before my first post, wanted to check if there were any comments regarding a 4.0 version. Of course I found GM2 once you mentioned it.
Is there any work yet on 4.0 compatibility, and more importantly, an Archaeology module? From what I experienced, the exact locations you find artifact fragments at after surveying are maybe distinct 10-15 points per dig site, so having a marker where a "[race] Archaeology Find" could be would help grandly in finding them more quickly, the current implementation only lets you "find" those when in about 5-8y range, but anything in 30 or maybe 40y range gives you a green lamp on the survey tool, so with bad luck, you have to survey several times while already having a green lamp >:(
No. It is not possible to have individual different settings for each type of herb/treasure/etc.
Well, disable icon hiding for treasures, if not a dwarf, or for schools if you don't have fish tracking yet. Or, disable hiding if you don't have the appropriate tracking skill active. Don't wanna say it's easy, but doesn't sound that difficult either.
Huh? I just gathered some herbs in Icecrown and didn't notice anything new, Icethorn and Lichbloom nodes overlap each other at the same spot - which is a better implementation than merging them as a "Frozen Herb", which is something different, though I'd even prefer a fake group node for both, name "Icethorn or Lichbloom", maybe with a mixed icon.
So, that'd be D), but if that's not an option, I'd say A)
I am having the issue with Database Maintenance options hanging the game. I realize it needs to hang for a few minutes, but I let it sit for over 10 minutes and my system wasn't doing anything at all during that time. It completely locked up and went non responsive. Has there been any resolution for this issue?
There seems to be a problem with that menu option for many atm. Don't select "Database Maintenance", instead click the plus on the right to expand it, then select the menu point below it to bring up the maintenance screen.
I have finally added this option in r618 of GatherMate.
I think what would be even more useful would be an option to show the nodes on the minimap, but hide them when you hover them, to be able to check out the actual node shown by the respective tracking skill.
