You need to edit the layout-cache.txt when you're out of the game, and delete the wall entry for Xloot frame.
The only problem is, as soon as the loot window appears next to one of the edge of the screen, this strange behavior came back again. I think it's the "Anchor" in the layout-cache.txt that messed up the behavior of Xloot Frame.
Still following this thread, but with all the blizzard mess, still waiting for a stable situation for new translation if needed ^^
About the visual indication of BoP/BoE/BoU items, I think the BoP is the most important, cause if you roll on BoE or BoU you could still give it to someone else if it was a mistake :)
So, for the BoP you could put a Fat Glowing Border (color depending on the quality) or just a Fat border.
Don't known if it's possible, but you could use some texture on the background of the item name.
Sorry if theses suggestions are sillies but I think that we could id a BoP item in a glimpse, so I start in this way :)
I still got the "permanent link" bug, but i've notice some clues that could help you to track down this malicious bug ^^
In fact, the bug, for me, just happen when I've to roll, and lock the object just before the rolled loot. Some time, it could lock the object itself, if I've got more than one object rolled on the monitor.
Hope it could help you on the difficult path of bug hunting...
Updated : In Fact, that lock the object, and the object just before
just for the beginning :
Cthol, it's not really the lack of translation that broke XLoot, but the translation about Oskin, that were removed from the enUS localisation file but still there in the frFR ^^ (like Celeri said)
An now the conclusion ;) :
I will send you asap, an updated frFR file for the wall XLoot package, including XLootmaster. But it will take a little bit more time cause, I'm very busy ATM.
I've got one request too :
Could it be possible to set a specific border color on the roll frame for the BOP objects ? Cause, even if I get the pop-up that said if I roll for this item it will be bind to me, as an enchanter, it could be usefull to know in a blink on what I could be ask to disenchant ^^
And to finish, I've got a strange issue with XLoot Monitor, sometime, some objects stay forever on screen, they don't fade out, and overlap with new entries. The only way I get them to fade out is to right click on them.
Don't know why... I will try to get a screenshot on this.
