The situation is temporary (and caused by AutoBar) while I get to a permanent fix for some issues I have with PeriodicTable. Irony all around I know. Where are you getting Ark and InstanceMaps from that they are both so outdated?
I had moved ArkInventory to a WowInt download but am going back to wowace for all three to make sure they use the latest libraries (and the same lib). If you don't see a follow up post here it worked :-)
Sounds like you have some mod with old versions of PeriodicTable-3.1 files. Make sure that all your mods using PeriodicTable are up to date.
Three addons embed it, InstanceMaps, ArkInventory and AutoBar. I guess I understand why I preferred to run with libs disembedded. However, I thought it was supposed to be "risk free" to use embedded libraries in that only the latest one encountered would be used. If that isn't the case using embedded libraries seems like a terrible idea and also means that moving away from wowace to curse/wowint might be even more difficult.
I decided to start my migration off of files.wowace (and my jwowaceupdater) and downloaded as many of my addons as I could from WowInterfaces. Ever since that I got problems with Autobar and went back and did a files.wowace download that didn't solve it. The problem: Missing items, specifically the Weathered Fishing Hat and the Spectral Goggles (daily Nagrand quest). I used to run unembedded and have switched back to embedded libraries. Suggestions?
RBM has an announce built in for drums. I'm sure someone can cook up a small addon that will do this independent of how you clicked the drum (since you can have the announce trigger off the combat log).
Bumped cause I'd like to know as well. Also, when I have "Hot Buttered Trout" and Mage bisquets in my inventory, the trout will take priority. I was under the impression that all conjured food/water had highest priority. Has anyone else seen this or did I miss a checkbox somewhere?
I know similar issues have been reported before but it is worth pointing out again...
When there are multiple items, each with multiple charges (drums and oils in my case), it would be VERY nice if Autobar used the item with the fewest charges each time. It is very annoying to find out you have three mana oils with 3, 5 and 2 charges respectively.
I keep having problems with the trap button not changing reliably. When I'm about to get into an encounter where I want another trap than the current "main" I make sure to place one before getting into combat so that autobar will switch "main" trap. Frequently (maybe even always) Autobar DOES NOT switch and when I want to place the next trap during combat and just hit my hotkey for autobar's selected trap I end up with the wrong trap and frequently a wipe as a result. This is a MAJOR bug in my book and I'd be happy to do any kind of testing you need to fix it.
Latest version 55463.4 is VERY broken... only skills buttons show up and all others are hidden. This is probably a periodic table update (saw that being updated in my last update but no autobar update per se). Going to try to roll back and see if I can fix the problem.
I was using the the other night, and I noted unexpected (to me) behavior.
Drums of Restoration show up as the first item to use in my Heal button, followed by Charged Crystal Focus and finally Healing Potion Injector. However, it would not advance past the Drums when I used them. Is Autobar no longer cycling automatically through items for use or have I got it set up incorrectly? I'm using the new buttons as they came default, short of enabling the Heal button for use.
If I understand things correctly Autobar cannot cycle through to the next one just because you use the first (because the first are now on cooldown)... at least it can't do it while you are in combat. While in combat no buttons may change (Blizzard restriction).
