If I select a target for Earth Shield in and out of combat, then manually apply it to another target, ZOMGBuffs still wants to rebuff the initial target. Only way to stop that is to Untick and retick the little Earth Shield box on raid/group popup :o
Well! Love the new single spell tracker. Though I did find a few weird things. Firstly, if you have a friendly target other than the one you selected in the popup and press the single buff rebuff button, it rebuffs them but doesn't show the stacks on them, just the time left (however it does notify you when it runs out).
Also it was showing incorrect charges for some reason after keeling Warp splinter just now:
I guess I should've added "</sarcasm>" to the end of my previous post, heh.
I just don't see why the floating icon would be such a bad thing, it's resizable, can be positioned anywhere, shows stuff only when you mouseover it and highlights itself when someone needs buffing. How I see it, it's an all-in-one solution.
So you didn't know what I was saying, so I'll tell you. If you right click the fubar plugin, goto Display, you can find a bunch of options to change the appearance of the addon.
If you goto the Buff parts you can find the "pre-expiring" modifiers on each spell.
So you're too lazy to move your mouse a little over the icon to see the buffs, or move your eyes a little to see if there's a glowy thing around the icon (remembering that it doesn't just show when buffs expire but also before it's going to expire, which can be user defined)? :P
Hmm, template changes aren't auto changing for me, made a PvP selfbuff template and set it to auto-switch upon entering a battleground and well, it didn't change ^^ same for coming out for the other one.
Seconded. Having to rekeybind all of my characters abilities to the mousewheel will be a serious pain and probably keep me from using this. Also, when I turned off buffing with the mousewheel and decided to console reloadui, the mousewheel bindings I had just set were removed and the mousewheel was back to its default camera zoom in/out. I'm not sure if this was ZOMGBuffs fault or not, but it was really annoying. Basically, just don't mess with my mousewheel :X
Use a keybind then? The option is right underneath the Mousewheel auto buff option..
I could be dense, which probably is the cause. I decided to try it on my lvl 14 druid. She has Mark of the Wild and Nature's Grasp as possibly buffs.
Nature's grasp was listed in the SelfBuff section, Mark wasn't. It did however show up on the Raid part - where Grasp was missing. I changed to keybinds (f1 since that's what I use for buff stuff). Ran out of town, nothing. Mark of the Wild didn't come up at all. Hit the key, tried the scroll wheel, nothing. I only got an error "nil value" on GetRaidRosterInfo(), which is normal, seeing as I wasn't grouped at all. (Same error as Matrix110)
Had same thing when I started using it, found out by accident that you have to click the spell name in the "drop" down menu. When you do that it works ok.
Very tasty, although I was wondering about Earthshield being in the SelfBuff part of the addon. What I mean is, if I enable it in SelfBuffs it spams me that "I" don't have it on if I put it on, lets say the tank. Perhaps allow it to track it on the person you put it on? Or even locally assign someone to put it on and alert the shaman when the buff expires (either via time/charges used).
One more thing, what does the Log actually show? Did a 5man earlier and it had nothing after the whole run. Have yet to try it in raid though.
