r55 and prior of ZOMGBuffs did not have any such "Attempt to access a recycled table" errors.
Yeh, they wouldn't. I put in the validation code on the tables, so now they give this error rather than failing silently and blowing up later. There's a table being discarded somewhere and I'm later using it, and this is to help me find that.
However, your errors here are the first usable ones I've seen. All mine so far have had no stack traceback, so have been useless to me. So thanks :)
Rogue poisons continue to keep overwritting themselves in an endless loop as well as with warlock applying SoulLink, it to is stuck in a loop and will cast over and over.
I play a rogue too, and don't get the problem with poisons myself. Are you on a non english client?
As for soul link. I really can't see why it would be doing this since the patch and not before. Unless the behaviour changed in some way. I'll try and get access to a warlock at some point. Until then, all I have to go on is erm... nothing.
I'm getting Zomg has attempted an action only allowed by the Blizzard ui (Disable, Ignore)
On my paladin with any attempt to buff, either by the mousewheel, or even if I rebind it to spacebar.
I think it's because I have those bound to something else already? I did manage to get it to stop if I bound it to something that has no binding associated with it, maybe something wrong with how it's trying to override bindings?
This is expected, and unavoidable. I tries to perform your original binding when you click the thing. If this happens to be a protected function, then you'll get this problem. For most people it's a camera zoom, but for those that use scroll for other things, you should either disable your old setting, or not use mousewheel scroll.
ZOMG does not replace your old bindings, merely sets a temporary override.
Because it's still going to nag me to buff BoM on my Warrior for no reason when I'm 2-manning with my gf's Retadin until I get high enough level to get Commanding Shout unless I explicitly turn off the reminder every time I group, and then back on every time I go solo. If I have to remember to turn it on and off, then I may as well just not use ZOMG at all :p
Heh.. I'm sorry, but this mod is designed for raid buffing. Not to make your life easier when you're PLing an alt. Especially when the only thing you're worrying about is that it's going to ask you to buff BOM... Why don't you not use battle shout instead.
That fixes potential overwriting issues, yes, but ZOMGBuffs still needs to be updated to know that the two buffs are mutually exclusive.
Why? If you have 3 palas and you're setup to buff BOM, BOW and BOK. Why would you not buff BOM for the melee just because a warrior is there who might change his mind for the next fight and switch to Commanding..
Not sure how easy it would be to handle, but I noticed an interesting issue in ZOMGBuffs with the new WoW 3.0 buff (non-)stacking logic:
I'm leveling a DPS warrior with my gf's retadin, and ZOMG is always telling me that we need Battle Shout. However, I actually can't cast BShout most of the time now because my gf keeps up a Blessing of Might buff that provides more AP, and attempting to cast BShout gives the "a more powerful spell is already active" error.
This will be fixed with the next patch of WoW. they're making BoM more valuable than BS, so it won't overwrite it.
- about the buff reminder and range, I tested this with single blessings mode on in BG, and it seemed 40yds was the maximum for when it alerts you, is there a way to increase the range for when alerts hit for PVE? Or would there be a chain reaction of other people from the same class from the guy that died and was then battle rezzed, targetting whoever from the same class is closer and chaining it? Also, the wait for all people of a class option is that in and/or out of combat (range related)?
The problem with this is, if someone is outside the 40 yard range, there is not way to tell if they're at 41 yards, or 141 yards. Anything past about 60-70 yards is outside implied buff radius.
Auto buffing is never attempted in combat. And the 'wait' options are just down to personal behaviour preference really. Whether you want to buff all at once, or as they come.
- about the single spells for paladins(BOL,HoF,HoS), would it be possible to just have the timer and warnings for when they run out, instead of having it linked to a certain player and not have it in the autobuff queue?
You can turn off the Spell Tracker icon, which I think is what you mean. Then it'll behave just as other spells do.
Can you add pls some kind of way to announce on raid chat what buffs/elixirs/buff food are missing? Or how about to change the selection way when mouse is over the buffs list so that you can select an entire column with let's say elixirs and when you "some key"+click that column it will announce on raid chat all ppl that are missing that buff. Or anyway somehow to easy announce some particular buffs/etc missing or to announce everything is missing from the entire raid. Or cut out of the announcement all the buffs that are impossible for ppl to give.
I realy like this addon and the speed I can check everything, but would be nice to have a way to announce also what is missing.
Yes, I'm going to improve the popup raid list soon, now that the new secure system is a lot more flexible and we can do some neat things with it.
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but is there a way to change the color of the icon pop-up list? My list is dark and ugly and I can't read any of the text on it. When I mouse over the list each bar highlights and I can read it. I really need to be able to read it before I move my mouse around. How can I change the colors of the list, please?
The list is supposed the be easily readable, when you need to do something.
Darkened buffs or names are already buffed and don't need attention.
I don't think the list is too dark though when dimmer, I find it quite readable. But I do accep that someone with seeing difficulties might have problems with it, so I'll do an option to erm... do 'something'.
