Is there any way to display [Zone] just for party and raid members? That's all that's keeping me from switching over at this point; either I have to have [Zone] for every player I hover over, or I can't tell where anyone in my party is.
Though it occurs to me, if that's not possible, is there any way to display [Zone] if and only if it's different from my own?
This bug has always been present I think. As a healer on my main I can't use CowTip because while clicking on Grid frames it obstructs everything. The only thing I can suggest is to use TinyTip until its fixed. It's not as pretty but has pretty much the same functionality.
It's great and unlimited line of customization from using, DogTag. If someone like me, who aren't used to DogTags or never learn it. I am having pretty much misunderstand sometime the "IF" "IsMouseOver" doesn't work in some tags combination from Wiki DogTags. (I was scratching my head all day long :) )
I wish someone has a few simple templates layout of the tooltip.
It emulates the default tooltip as much as possible, with some features I missed from tinytip. Tags could likely be more efficient, but I haven't gone through that much, I was just making sure everything worked.
Latest dogtag update is working great with zone and faction.
The issue with boss mobs (??) getting their difficulty coloring set to gray still exists (notice it in pitbull too), and I'm noticing that party or raid members outside your zone aren't properly flagged as players in the unitframe tooltip. They seem to be almost flagged as both players and something else... mobs or pets maybe? I'm getting double names atm when a raid member is outside the instance.
Other than these minor details, it's working like a champ.
The blank target issue seems to occur of the target they're targeting is out of range of your spells... if it's beyond 40 yards I can't see target's targets. Otherwise it works fine. Edit: No, I take all of that back... it's just buggy.
I'm also having an issue now where Faction:HostileColor is showing gray faction names on mobs that are a lower level than me. It shows yellow for neutral faction mobs above my level, just as I would expect it to.
And yeah, faction is displaying 'PVP' for most guard mobs instead of their city faction.
And lastly, Lady Vashj's name was gray in my tooltip if I used DifficultyColor. Seems boss mobs or ?? mobs confuse it.
Hm to be honest the [Faction] tag seems to be behaving oddly... some units that should be flagged aren't (city guard units mostly) and there should probably be some built in check to make sure the unit has a faction before trying to display it.
