I'm very new to scripting for UI's and all that. So I need some help. What would I need to do to have a panel bound to my class/stance/pet bar so that it only appears when that bar is present? If possible, a way to make it the same size as that bar would be really nice as well. Thanks in advance.
awww come on seerah give the guy a cookie he is obviously trying...
anyway just a heads up on your script. You have to change your panel names around to match the ones your using. In other words unless you have those panels numbers in those exact orders then it wont work. But if i am correct all you should have to do its a find and replace on the panel names and then you should be set....
but i warn you now i have never used that script so i am sure there is something i am missing. I would follow seerahs advice and read up on the wiki.
Well I have my answer, of sorts lol. Basicly I thought I had updated to eepanels 2.0 and well I didnt. so the last week of ui making is shot, so for now it looks like I will go back to using the old eepanels until I feel like redoing all my work but i am sure that will be sooner than later
Hey guys, I have done many searches on this on the site and on the web and I am stumped. I need to raise the strata of my chat frame so that the eepanels do not cast that transparent dark shadow over the text. Dont get me wrong, I cant still see the text but its like someone went and made them only half as bright or something and I have to strain to read them.
The other options is that I lower the frame strata of the panel that the chat window sits on but if I do that then the lines I have connecting them sit on top of the borders to the frames they are supposed to slide under...
Ok, Im making progress on my issues. I don't get any more bug catcher errors from my crappy lua script. but when I join a group, or the raid grows, my panel doesn't resize unless i /rl
here is a screenshot.
here is the script.
local gridExists = getglobal("GridLayoutFrame")
if gridExists then
THIS_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")
function THIS_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
Is what I'm running, the trick was to add Grid to the eePanels toc for me though, the order of the script might have made a difference too I guess.
