HonorFu and HonorFu Plus both are incorrectly hooking SCT's honor gain methods. They both should be updated to remove that functionality, since honor gains in the combat log are 100% accurate now that honor is awarded immediately.
Zidomo, are you still getting the error? I cannot seem to reproduce it. Maybe describe what you are doing in more detail.
Xed, I'll look into that
Avitus, the spell icons are handled by the game now. Need to bring it up with blizzard =)
Shadowgopher, pretty sure that is just a Power gain event. So just select the event type of "POWER", and put the name of the spell that gives you back mana. You'll just need to look in your combat log for the actual spell name.
Rayanea, that is the intended behavior. It was bugged before on some localizations and not showing spell colors correctly. If you are wanting to use the pet colors you need to uncheck using spell colors. Same thing with showing the "phsycial damage" text, you need to uncheck the option to show the damage type.
Unholy_prince, the actual display field, display="", like you have in the examples. As I mentioned in the original post about the new custom events, you have to set the value AlwaysLoadEvents to true at the bottom of the file if you are making changes to the file. Or you have to reset all custom events to defaults in the option menu. You probably would be better off using the in game menu than using the file.
Ackis, SCT doesn't do anything with the combat log, so you may need to start turning off other mods until you find the culprit. If you aren't getting any errors, not sure what it could be.
If a line is commented out, the game doesn't load it or even know it exists.
To create an event that shows nothing (stop spam), you just give the event no display value. I'll try and make that clear through the tooltips in a future update. Also, just to be sure, the search criteria needs to be in your localization.
I think part of the issues is I am not giving new events enough information by default to work. I made the assumption you would save them before using them, but that is a bad assumption to make. I'll adjust the new event code to make sure it functions properly regardless if you save it or not.
next96, I'll take a look at it. The issue is that skills still need to be parsed from the old chat message system. I don't want to use a full parserlib just for that, so tried to make a global string to use. I guess its not working with the Korean global string.
Vittra, no I do not at this time. It takes a decent amount of overhead to keep track of that information, and there are plenty of mods out there that alreay do it well, and send the results to SCT.
bigdady92, I really need some more details to be able to help you. Did you update while in game maybe? If nothing else you can revert back to previous versions, but the only thin affected should be custom events.
I have just committed a 6.1 Beta version of SCT to the SVN. This is the version with a total rewrite of the custom event system along with an in game option menu of adding, editing, and deleting custom events.
If you are hesitant to try beta code, I suggest you not update SCT or SCTD using WAU or other updaters.
The custom event menu is located in the SCT option menu. The first screen lists the events and you can add new ones or reset them all to the defaults from there. Clicking on one of the events brings up the details menu where you set all the specific settings for that event. The type of the event determines some of the options that are available.
sct_event_config.lua can still be used for maintain your custom events if you like, but make sure you read the file in detail and understand the AlwaysLoadEvents flag. Others may want to read the file anyway to fully understand the custom event system now.
Please post all errors, issues, and feedback with as much detail as possible. There will be bugs with this system in the short term as it is a massive overhaul and I never know what someone is going to try and do =) If you start getting errors when it was working before, please try resetting your custom events (from the custom event menu) to get things working again.
I will also need lots of translations for the new options menu. I have asked that SCT be opened up on the SVN, but I am not sure it has happened yet. If it is not open yet, please send the translation files to rhclone-sct at yahoo dot com.
