Ofcourse they aren't showing (its working as intended, nothings broken)
You have set tooltips to only show when CTRL is held, and thus, they only show when CTRL is held, this effects all gametooltips (most addons will obey the settings you have made for the tooltips through cowtip)
Notised the same
For instance im used to mousing over partymembers to check where they are if they are not in range, and if there not in my zone (dunno exactly how close they need to be) i simply don't get any tooltip at all.
I have a request. I dunno if it would be difficult to do or not... and I dunno if others besides me would actually be interested in this...
Would it be possible to add an option in that would hide the tooltip if your mouseover target is the same as your players target?
When you mouseover your current target, its not like the tooltip really shows anything you dont already know (although with the right configuration it obviously could), so it would be nice to just not have it appear.
I'm a MT for a guild and frequently I end up tanking bosses up against a wall, like Magtheridon for example. When this is the case, the boss pretty much takes up the entire screen for me. So I can hardly move the tooltip anywhere that the boss isn't.
I dunno. Any thoughts? Just an idea that would be a nice cosmetic option. But I know you are busy with all your amazing addons, ccknight.
I would suggest using the midifier key option (ie just mousing over don't trigger the tooltip, you need to hold down shift, alt or ctrl aswell for it to show) or perhapps hide in combat?
I noticed that MobInfo2 cannot add its *runs* text to the tooltip with CowTip, so I wrote a little file you can add to your "LibDogTag-Unit-3.0\Categories" folder (along with a line in "LibDogTag-Unit-3.0\lib.xml") to enable using DogTags to display MobInfo2 data! Anyway, for those who want a pretty tooltip with *runs* text and the ability to completely customize the layout of that MobInfo2 data, this should work for you. Here's a few screenshots of it in action:
A few patches ago something broke, and now Cowtip isn't loading(?) SharedMedia2.0 or whatever. I have my clearfont2 font pack registered to both SM2 and 3 and. On one of the updates it broke with pitbull and then it was fixed fast, however it hasn't been fixed so far with Cowtip? Anything I could change in the code to make it work?
Guess thats ur problem then.
Its SharedMedia not SharedMedia2 or any other version, just plain simple SharedMedia all the others are obselete and as far as i know should be removed.
