Ran into this error tonight while running around on an alt. I opened lilsparky's version Skillet and when I selected the item I was going to craft this popped up. I posted in on lilsparky's forum for Skillet, but he said it might be ARL's issue. Any idea?
I've been getting the same errors. I also thought it was Skillet, but I think it's LibBabble-Faction. Try updating to the latest Alpha. It fixed most of the errors for me. I'm still getting a few, but most are now related to Northrend zones.
Apologies if this has been mentioned already. I noticed that the tooltips don't auto-correct themselves if the ARL window is too far over to the right, they end up overlapping.
Also the alc recipes that you can get both at Exalted with Outland factions and from old world bosses only show the info for the old world bosses. Discoveries aren't marked as such, they're just blank.
Keep up the great work. I can't remember if I mentioned this the other day, I love the classic feel of the ARL window.
Leatherworking specialization is definitely broken using build 76171. The Filter -> Specialties option has no effect on the output list. I'm a tribal LW and keep seeing dragonscale and elemental LW patterns show up in my list regardless of the state of the Filer -> Specialties checkbox. I removed ARL from WoW\Interface\Addons and reinstalled it. Is there another file somewhere that needs to be purged?
There are like two patterns from each specialty in leatherworking that all lws can learn. Are you sure the recipes you see are specific to only that specialty?
All right, after setting my LW's ARL to only show recipes upto her skill level, when I expanded the list I received this error:
Date: 2008-05-18 13:49:35
Error occured in: Global
Message: ..\AddOns\AckisRecipeList\ARLFrame.lua line 47:
bad argument #1 to 'match' (string expected, got nil)
I love the ability to open all, though could the buttons be made smaller or moved to the top left hand side, so they're not so close to the X. I've already accidentally closed ARL twice, when trying to expand.
The ARL button disappears after the first instance of opening a tradeskill window. You can still access all the slash commands but can't access the actual info ARL provides, you need to /console reloadui to get ARL button back for that first opening of the tradeskill window.
I'll look at the code, I shouldn't have changed anything to do with the Skillet integration.
Okay, so this morning, everything looked like it had straightened itself out. I could see the recipes again. But then I logged onto my tailor to make something and again the skillet window was blank.
I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like. Clicking Scan doesn't do anything and infact Skillet won't even register known recipes unless I open the ARL window, which still works though some recipes linger when I switch professions (ie anti-venom will stay up when I switch to tailoring).
EDIT: It appears that today it's just affecting my tailor/enchanter. I was just able to see and perform a transmute on my alchemist. This behavior is getting weirder and weirder.
Since this afternoon's update of ARL if I have ARL enabled I can't view and therefore use any recipes using Skillet. I am not getting an error message. If there is other info I could give that may help, please let me know.
Snowmaster 9000 entry is somehow wrong... I have it on my engineer and it still shows up in ARL and ARL complains about knowing nothing about my Snowmaster 9000 recipe :(
I had this occur with the normal Alchemists Stone. When I went back a couple of hours later it had corrected itself. I think it's just a minor glitch when it scans. Look at it again and see if it's still missing. :D
