Aha! I've reproduced it. What is causing the issue is that the Config gets refreshed anytime the state changes. I think I'll just disable that. Check out Revision 72468 and tell me if it's still happening.
Ok, with this version I still have the issue that I cant edit textboxes.
And I know how you can simulate it:
- Make a bar with 2 Actionbar Pages
- Check Shift key to use as a toggle between the pages.
- Now try to Shift-Insert some text into a text field....It wont let you.
(For example: try to paste (Shift-Insert) "[Highlight(IB2MouseOver and Yellow) Border(IB2MouseOver and Yellow)]" without quotes into Border Hightlight.
I'd really rather IB did not jump to a button's configuration section if I press its keybind while RockConfig is open. It's very annoying if I'm just trying to fiddle with, say, textsub fonts during trash, and I have to keep closing and reopening the configuration window in order to actually cast spells.
I experience the same while in config window you cant use keys anymore without jumpjng to its keybind. Maybe it should be an option.
My issue is probably related to this feature... I gues? That it wants to jump to a keybind that is not there. And then leaves the textsub that I was typing in?
I still have the problem in config window that I cant put any Shift-[key] combinations into textboxes. Same for Ctrl-key or Alt-key combinations.
For example if I want to Paste (Shift-Insert) into a textbox. It doesnt let me.
Or if I want to type "("
I think its because I assigned hotkeys using Shift, Ctrl and Alt.
So I think there should be an edit mode as soon as IB2 config windows is up in which keybindings are disabled so that I can normally use Shift, Ctrl and Alt.
Or there should be a Copy, Paste button at every textbox.
That's exactly what I mean. Because of the way cyCircled works, I will not guarantee the border color will change on a mouseover, even with the correct dogtag for it. If, however, you're using ButtonFacade, that will work.
I dont use cyCircled or ButtonFacade notmally.
Without these 2 addons and with the default Blizzard skin, my problem is that I can see the highlight indd at mouseover, but the border of the buttons is so thin that I have to press my nose on the screen to see it highlight.
I dont see the highlight fade to the center of the button. Like ButtonFacade does at the ButtonTest. Or what Flash Highlight does.
So only the actual border is highlighted.
Even with ButtonFacade installed still only the actual border is highlighted and not the part fading to the centre.
Is this the way IB2 works? Or should I change the default DogTag to accomplish what I want?
Edit: Cool...I finally did it myself. This DogTag does what I want: [Highlight(IB2MouseOver and Yellow)]...seems so simple lol
Not sure how to include the border too.
Not sure if this is possible but noticing that a reload UI is needed after changing profile...isnt it possible to change profile without reload?
I raid alot so I have setup 3 profiles: a 10-man, a 20-man and a 40-man profile.
It would be awesome if I could switch between these without reloading UI.
uhmmm...I made a Menu group....exited game and came back, and the menu group wasnt there anymore, like I never made it.
Also the Main actionbar pops up at entering game. The Hide option is checked in config window tho.
I tried to copy the menugroup from another char that has the group, but the group wasnt in the list of that specific char. There is only the 4 default groups. I gues thats not finished yet.
Edit: Solved it...I just deleted the profile and copied groups from another profile.
