Its because you are trying to parent to frames not created yet, so it doesnt anchor them properly and they end up back in the middle of the screen. I am looking into ways to fix this.
That's what I actually figured. Most of the Party text fields are still anchored to the bars and they're working, though.
Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your work on this mod. I love it. I loved if before but now with horizontal bars and party support, it's awesome. I actually had pitbull installed just for some party bars. I can finally uninstall it. :D
I downloaded LibRangeCheck-2.0 (or something close to it) and now range check is working. I had 1.0, I guess. Maybe it's because I download without externals?
Anyway, I'm still having the error with anchors. I'm going to just set up my HUD the other way, anchoring everything to UIParent for now. Do you need to know anything more about this bug I'm having? Have you been able to reproduce it?
The Target Range default isn't working. When I choose Target and go to Custom and use [Range] it works but doesn't update. If when you target your target you are out of range as a mage with Flame Throwing, for instance, it says 41+ but when you run in range it won't update at all. It only updates when you select a target.
I've encountered a bug. While setting up my UI, I began with my party frames and anchored Party2-4's HP bars to Party1's HP bar, and Party1-4's MP bars to their HP bars. I then made 3 text fields for each of them and anchored them to each HP bar. I did this so I can move them altogether later easily. When I reload my UI most (not all) of the MP bars and all of the text fields appear in the middle of the screen. To fix it, I have to go into options and click their anchors one at a time and hit enter to recalibrate them, so to speak.
Also, when out of range, my party's cast bars work the way they should, but their cast text field doesn't display what they are casting. I assume this is not a bug, however, and is just a limitation of the API.
I'd also like to know if future revisions will reset my settings, because so far it's taken me a few hours to set up my HUD -- I'd hate to lose this work, when updating your mod. Just in case I'll backup my WTF files.
