As far as i know, i've been using EQCompare until this morning without a single error/problem, i just switched today to TekKompare only because it was smaller.
Btw, no border issue at all with Cowtip + EQCompare at least for me, but i have it with TekKompare, hopefully found a workaround.

Ahh, but you're taking things out of context, Kyron. EQCompare doesn't work perfectly the way it should. It *does* need an update. And because something hasn't been updated in a year does mean that it's been abandoned.

WTH people? tK is *not* laggy and bug ridden. I have been using it for months with tons of different addons and combinations and it's been fine. The only issue is with the CowTip border, which I also got with EQCompare, tyvm. You have been told for MONTHS in this thread to stop using this mod and switch to something else.

The mod is dead.
The author stopped touching it a year ago and it's only been kept on life support.
It majorly needed a rewrite.
Someone pulled the plug on it and put it to rest. Move on with your lives - it's an addon to a game and there are several others that do the same thing.
If you *are* stubborn, then just stick with an old version or change the Interface number in the TOC yourself. Don't come crying here because someone did something that needed to be done.

The correct thing for people to do when they realize that they make a mistake is apologize to the person they were trying to correct. But many people don't learn that in today's society anymore. Don't know why - the world would be a better place if people were more respectful.

I'm not saying that your comment was rude, but if you jump at someone and try to correct them about something and realize you were wrong, it's best to apologize instead of saying "oh well, basically I'm still right and it doesn't matter."

I may be just grumpy this morning, or maybe it's my teacher skills trying to instill some good manners...

tekKompare is on WoWInterface also

It doesn't need to be Aced. Don't put tekkub in a hissy fit. ;) Not every good mod is Ace and not every Ace mod is good.
