Well, 2.1 will resolve the problem as long as the addon author updates the addon to use the new addon whisper communication channel rather than the player whisper channel. Since Cartographer is pretty actively supported, I'm guessing that won't be a problem. :P
hm, HeyFu shouldn't be accessing any sort of Cart data... what sort of data are you meaning?
I think she probably means note-share whispers between Cartographer users, which are normally suppressed. This should cease to be a problem once 2.1 is released with an addon whisper channel.

hm. I wonder if I can get whoever writes SpamSentry to throw an event when they block, with like, the spammer's name, so I can backtrack and delete the entry in HeyFu....
Well, if the user has notifications on, a message is added to the chat frame informing them that a message was blocked. Also, SpamSentry updates its FuBar plugin's text when a message is blocked, and adds the spam to a temporary ignore list. I'm not sure if watching for any of those would really be feasible though, and firing a "SPAM_BLOCKED" type event would be a nice convention that other spam-blocking addons could follow...
Please no. I'm getting tired of all the spam filter addons adding level-based filtering that relies on who queries. IMO it's not necessary... before SpamSentry implemented level-based filtering (which I promptly stripped out) I never saw a spam anyway, so why add a bunch of bulk and interfere with my ability to perform who queries whenever I want, when it's not improving the addon?
A keyword-based filter, even if I had to populate the keywords myself, would be nice though for keeping those peons4hire ads out of my HeyFu display.
The best solution would be to show only whispers that were shown in the chat frame, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible for an addon to determine that!
