IMO It would sound like MailTo just needs an ace'd replacement (designed to be compatible *with* BulkMail / GMail).
No reason to go clammoring for features that can easily be implimented in a seperate mod. (The reason why BulkMail dosen't take care of looting mail, thats ExpressMail's job.) Keep things simple and seperate. :)
Well, Express Mail already handles quick looting of mail.
ExpressMail - Quick looting of mail
BulkMail - Quick sending of mail
Gmail - CT_MailMod Replacement
Bulk+Express and Gmail seem like two totally differant options to me.
_________________________________________________Grennon, I'm getting this error with the latest SVN when I type a name in the "To" field.
[14:59-382] [string "GMailNameEditBox:OnChar"]:2: attempt to call method `SendMailFrame_SendeeAutocomplete' (a nil value)
Unfortunately yes, even with 10 18-slot bags i'm still not able to store much on my character so i usually have 100-200 mails on alts. But if he adds more slots than there already is then it should probably be alright.
Honestly, it sounds like BulkMail is more for you. Thats moreso aimed at routinely mass-sending of things (hence the auto-destination and the like.)
Still impressed with GMail thou Grennon. Its the one last thing that my friends / guildies are holding onto CT_* for.
I know this but you cant say me that so mutch more memory (4times more!) is only because of the first "double" load of ace2 files or libs. Btw. ct-mailmod dont uses/need any libs or ace(2) or seperate dependancies like BulkMail.
No, but instead it relies on CT_MasterMod, I'd call that a seperarte dependancy. BulkMail has one dependency (AceGUI), and GMail has zero dependencies, just built in librarys.
It's been said many times how librarys provide an advantage as opposed to dependencies. It's also a known fact that librarys cause more memory to be used DURING LOADING but that is it. If you think CT_MailMod is better, then go back to useing that.
