Well, I like all your suggestions, as long as the frames are really, really minimal. I'm still waiting to see if ag adds a style to his unit frames, because then I won't have to code the addon myself - and as I somehow decided I'd like to do an Ace2 version of Decursive, MiniRaid doesn't have priority. If anyone would like to write the addon, feel free to do so. If you're using RosterLib, I guess the addon won't be longer than 200 lines of code.
Oh, and when you say that the red dots are for units who have aggro; are you determining that by checking targets or by incoming damage?
I check all targets. See Squishy for details.
Arcueid:
to make it usable for healers, why don't you add an option to display the current health or current health deficit in place of the characters' names?
Well, I do think names are important. And you can get used to colors. A tank that is shown yellow probably has taken 3000-4000 damage, depending on his gear. I know I then will cast a Greater Heal Rank3. And if he's nearly dead, I might cast a quick FlashHeal instead.
Unit frames without health bars? Yes, it's possible. See yourself:
They use half the size of PerfectRaid, and can be positioned horizontally or vertically. With Squishy installed, you'll also see the aggro/healing indicators.
