@Maahe: Hm, that's the first time I hear of something like this, but never say never :)
I'll try this out when I'm at home. Of course it could be something I've missed, though I did a lot of research on the original Blizzard AH code. You're sure it's not a sympton of lag?
Just to confuse things:
AH_Wipe + Ace: no button on first opening AH. The second time and later it shows up fine.
AH_Wipe + Ace + KC_Items: shows up ok.
AH_Wipe + Ace + LuaSlinger (with blank script, event on AUCTION_HOUSE_SHOW): shows up ok.
Ace hooking quirk?
Hm, I don't think so. It may be an issue of using ##LoadWith and ##LoadonDemand. But then again, locally testing on my client was fine and I'm using it every day *shrugs*. It loads up when I open the Auction House. I can't see any reason with Ace hooking since there's nothing hooked in my addon :-/
No, I can't see you doing anything wrong. I'm pretty clueless since you are the only one reporting it doesn't work.
Open your Auction House.AH_Wipe only gets loaded when the AH is opened the first time after login. Does your chatframe list my addon when you type "/ace list" then ?
Does /ace outputs anything?
You could try an "/ace load auto AH_Wipe"
If you found it with /ace list, try to type /ahw clear or /ahw show when you are at the AH, also an /ahw restore could be helpful.
I really need to know what's /ahw and /ace list are saying. (remember AH must be open)
Edit: I hope you also have the "load outdated addons" and the checkbox of my addon checked for all chars at the addons screen.
Edit2: By saying newest Ace you mean version 1.3, right?
It works for me 'mostly'. It clears the search string, resets the rarity and clears the level selection, but it seems to fail to clear the previous search results. To clear the previous search results, I have to close and reopen the auction window.
That's normal and intended .. to clear the previous search results I'd have to wait for the 5 seconds cooldown Blizzard built in to lower the AH traffic. I had this in earlier version but people got pissed because the cooldown extended to another 5 seconds. And if you're searching for an other string it will show the new results anyway, so it really doesn't matter.
