Bartender4 (most up2date 4.4.1 with lib) worked fine for me in 3.2.0, I configured it as follows:
- all bars with padding 1
- all bars with scale 0.8
- enable 1-6 bars/stance/pet bar (paladin & D.K.), and disable all the others
- change bars' position to where i wanna them to be
But in 3.2.2, I found the configured bar position changed to the default position, NOT where I configured before, and all bars were enabled, while other settings remained.
Is there a way to make the bars un-click-through-able? Eventually I want to not have to click much at all, but right now I'm still clicking a few buttons and I seem to manage to click between the buttons (thus unselecting my target: Very Bad when I'm tanking) more often than the tiny size of the space would allow for. (I'm using buttonFacade's default button enlarger but I've still got several pixels in between 'em.) I don't want the bars solid, or colored or anything like that. One of the things I love is that I don't have the big solid bars at the bottom. I can make little clusters of related buttons wherever I want.
Thanks for any help you can give me
If you change the padding on the bar the "inbetween" space should go away. At 0 there should be no pixel between to hit.
I don't understand.. how hard can it be? I decided to USE 1 PROFILE for all characters/classes, however I tend to hide certain things such as the stance bar (aka Aura, Presence, Stance, Stealth, XXX Form and Shadowform) for some classes namely Rogues and Priests (w/ Shadowform), and since I only use 1 profile, making it easier for both me and others that tend to use my UI pack.
I decided to only have 1 profile, however if I tend to hide the bar (do you even know the difference between the stance bar the the action bar that it switches to?, I didn't think so) and this overrides the stance bar for all characters/classes using this option (duh since they share the same config) and that's why I kindly asked if someone knew what I shoudl into the little cure box for custom conditions. This little neat feature allows me to hide the bar if for example; if I'm playing a rogue, it can hide the Stealth (Stance) bar completely not just while stealth ed (which is already an added feature if turned on)
Now Kerecha told me to just create another profile... well woopty f*cking doo, no way really? I've been using 10 profiles for the last 2 months and this could all so be easily solved if I could just have 1 with some inputs that could make mine and others life much easier.
Well excuse me!! for frekkin trying to help, mr "im to bloody aswome to use profiles", guess i won't be making that misstake again...
I should have notified you before I started posting. I use 1 profile for all classes, so having the stance bar turned off is kinda impossible (duh), that's why I asked if someone knew a way on what I should add in the custom condition box, but it seems it should be [Stealth]hide and [Shadowform]hide.
Thanks for trying anyways.
Just make a new profile for the rogue and copy the main profile and problem solved...
No no no. I mean the actual stealth bar aka stance bar, like DK's have one for their presences or Warriors has Stances or Priests have a switch-to Shadowform button. I'd like to just hide the Stealth/Shadowform button at any cost since I use a keybidning for these rather than mouse clicking on the stance/switch bar.
There's an option to hide it while stealthed but I know you can override it by using custom conditions to hide it completely and yeah, here we are.
Click stancebar and turn it of by unchecking "enable" box. Or if u bind ur stealth from the bar, go under visibility and check "always hide".
Any tip on what I should add to completely hide Stealth and Shadowform from the stance/form module? I can hide the stealth bar while using stealth but not while un-stealthed. I know I can use custom conditions to hide it completely but I'm not sure on what to add...
not entirely sure how you mean. but if u mean the bar that you put ur stealth skills on and that switches in to your main bar when u stealth just tick "always hide" on the corresponding bar.
What I mean is the buttons that I had set on the bars before disappear when I switch back and forth. So if I put Heroic Strike on the "1" button as prot, change specs to fury, then later change back to prot, the Heroic Strike wouldn't be there anymore.
I play a priest as well, who also has dual spec, and I don't have this problem at all, shadowform and all.
Hmm... never had that happend before, maybe its a glitch when repsecc is combined with the stances?
I'm not sure if this has been stated before, but I'm having issues on my warrior with dual specs. I mostly play as fury, and it works just fine. However, occasionally I switch to protection, and every time I do, there are always a few buttons that seem to reset. For example, the skills on the "1" and "4" buttons always disappear whenever I change specs. For the record, the skills on those two buttons are baseline abilities.
I don't know if this is relevant, but this only happens when I switch to prot, which is my secondary spec. It also seems to only happen if I log out, but I'm not sure what exactly triggers it.
When ever you change specc you get a full set of completely new bars, they need to be set up individually and any changes done in one specc will NOT affect what is on the bars ni the other specc. Thiss is blizzard behaviour.
