From my understanding author rewards are supposed to come in from your projects daily, and if a day is missed, you should be getting re-compensated for that missed day. However, CF rewards seem to be skipping days with relative frequency lately, is this happening to anyone else? Will we ever get our missing points back? It technically is revenue, so it does feel like we as authors are being a bit scammed if we're losing money.

I've uploaded my point history, it only re-compensated me for the missing day once out of 5 instances (this goes back a little bit longer too), and the rest of the points seem to be missing...
I've noticed this too, a day will seemingly go missing from time to time without compensation for the day. Usually when a day goes missing I get properly compensated. Recently, this has seemed to not be the case.
Doesn't seem like it, since it's not really enough to account for double. Points do accumulate more and more generally so I think that's just a coincidence
What happens if points weren't generated for a certain day?
Sometimes things happen which prevent the points generation task from running. When this happens, any points not assigned for that day will still be in the monthly pool and will be disbursed during subsequent days - this will result in a slightly higher per-day allocation for the remainder of the month.
Sometimes a day is skipped, yes. The points from that day is then divided amongst and added to each of the remaining days that month. This is why points seem to get a boost after each skip. The total number of points each month is always correct. Nobody is withholding our money.
I had read that before. For me, the issue stemmed from usually missing days toward the end of the month, which caused the points to be accumulated more quickly. Now that I've been missing days earlier in the month, the points were simply being added at a slower pace. I have since realized this still ends adding up to the missing days.
Was under the impression that that was just normal point accumulation-acceleration that happens with CF; they always increase your point income in the last week or so.

I can confirm this. Noticed the exact same issue :/

Hope there's a fix soon, this is super irregular and is literal money being withheld from us.
Can confirm. Happened to me yesterday, but at the same time a new record amount of points. Either partial compensation or lucky boost?
