I have had a minecraft mod project for many weeks now. I uploaded the first file (as a release, not beta or alpha). It soon after got approved. But ever since then I have still not been able to find my project for searching for it. I can still send the link to people where they can download it, but how is anyone else going to if they don't even know it exists? I just uploaded a second file to the project(also as a release), and it got approved almost immediately. But I still can't find my project by searching for it. Someone please help! It is called "Coordinate Mod".
Probably you are just searching wrong ;D. By default you are on the Modpack section after clicking on the minecraft page (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks). If you use the provided search you'll search for modpacks, not Minecraft mods.
I am having this same problem with my mod AncientCraft - 1.15.2, but I am not in the mod pack section. my mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/jaiden. when I do last updated 1.15.2 whenever I update, it comes up but it doesn't come up on search. I have had this mod for a while now and I have 84 downloads.
In reply to jjhjart: This should probably be a separate thread, but yes, the search index needs an update. The last update was on December 10th, so every mod created after that is missing from search results.
It used to be maybe a few days between updates, but that was under Twitch ownership. The transition from Twitch to Overwolf is still happening in some regards. I brought it up with an admin in the Discord server so it should get looked at soon, but no ETA.
So, what i got from this topic is that syincing mods to the search page takes days, i searched most of the peps that are saying that they're on trouble with that and all of them appear for me, i own a modpack and im on the same problem tooo, they say in the support area that you need 24 hours but i think its more time
This should probably be a separate thread, but your modpack doesn't show up in your projects list either. I think you only have files marked as alpha. Try updating a file to beta or release, then it should appear.
so i have an issue....when i search BY NAME my modpack still doesnt show up....i have to search by Latest Updated for some stupid reason...youd think that the name would find it....

Thanks in advance!
Good news: it shows up now :)
This is normal behavior in my experience. It can take days for new mods to be added to search results.

You need to go to the Mods section (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods) and then use the search bar (note that the search url also contains mc-mods).
This will also result in a bunch of other mods named similar to yours (see screenshot).

Yep! Overwolf fixed it pretty quickly and it seems back to normal: new non-alpha projects take up to a few days to show up in search results.
In reply to naqaden:
So when is the next update of the search results?
In reply to shootingthings1:
I haven't observed enough to know the exact schedule, sorry!
