Maybe it was just a fork, with that feature removed, which would be understandable(Copyright / Licensing and so on). If it was an addon or a coremod that did that, I'd be confused as to which political speech is allowed, and which is not. But then again, maybe it is because one actually adds content, and the other does not.

BUT for you, op, to think that when a creator displays a message on their mod saying that black people matters, and another person modifies the files to just remove said message, thats hate man. anyone with a functioning conscience would understand that.
imagine if theres a mod which had a message "we support lgbtq rights" on em, and a homophobe releases the same modified mod with that message removed, then you'll realize how silly you sound man.
I've noticed all these depoliticize mods, and they are kind of annoying. There is so many, and they modify a specific purpose of a mod, and if the are against the auther's wishes, I don't see why people keep creating them :shrug:
